FINRA, one of the U.S. broker dealer regulators, is enacting a new rule that requires all transactions in a brokerage account be reported to FINRA CAT with a unique identifier. That identifier must be a government issued number (FTIN, Driver’s License Number, Passport Number, Other Government-issued ID).

UBS will be developing functionality to gather this information from you directly
in UBS One Source and it will be ready one month prior to compliance date.

Since you no longer have access to UBS One Source you will need to call UBS to place a trade. Please have your identifier ready so that the representative assisting you can promptly enter it into the system on your behalf.

The compliance date for this regulation is May 31, 2024. You will not be
permitted to trade without the identifier after this date.
